Dear Minister,

On 1 June 2010 I sent you a letter with the following question: what can and should I do in accordance with Austrian legislation so that my applications for the approval of the anti-cancer preparation UKRAIN of December 1976 for cancer patients who have exhausted all other forms of therapy and of July 1981 without the above-mentioned limitation will finally be dealt with in accordance with the law in force at the time of my applications?

I have so far received no answer to this question.

I would like to thank you for the explanations of Dr. Gabriele Bajons, head of the department for matters of legal protection, about the constitutional separation of powers in Austria. However, I have been aware of these facts since my schooldays and it was really not necessary for Dr. Bajons to spend her valuable time on this letter.

I therefore ask you again to give me a clear and factual answer to my question. I do not doubt that your office has is capable of doing so and that adherence to the law is more important to you than loyalty to colleagues.

Since this is a matter of public interest I shall take the liberty of publishing this letter as well as your much-appreciated answer on the internet.

Best regards,
Dr. Wassil Nowicky
